Our founding member Dandora Transformation League has won the Dubai International Award for Best Practices to Improve the Living Environment - category Best Practice Transfer Award in Local Implementation – Urban redevelopment, and redesign of urban spaces! They have been recognized for their ability to mobilize large number of youths to take ownership of their public spaces and transform them from disused into thriving places. The mobilizing tool has been the Changing Faces Competition, successfully piloted over last three years in Dandora. We are thrilled to be scaling this best practice up to the entire Nairobi this year!
